Silhouette Dance Club

Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7.15pm with the doors opening at 6.30pm.
A NAFAS approved demonstrator will create beautiful arrangements which are raffled at the end of the evening!
SWEATY MAMA CLASS
Sweaty Mama is a unique and effective way to exercise whilst you bond with your child. No need to organise childcare to get to the gym, Sweaty Mama allows you to spend quality time with your child whilst you undertake the workout. Exercises are adapted to suit all ages & development of the child as well as suit the fitness level of the Mama. Over the course of sessions, you gradually build up your fitness level and strengthen your core & posture to rehabilitate your body after having a child. A fab, fun workout to upbeat music both you and your child will love!* With babies, toddlers and Preschoolers all joining in the fun!

We hold a Monthly General Meeting (often involving a guest speaker) on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Lydney Town Hall (1:45pm start). Tea / coffee is available and there is the opportunity to find out more about the various interest groups / activities, to join the Forest of Dean U3A and to just chat.

The acronym L.I.F.E. stands for Leisure, Independence, Friendship and Enablement services, and these areas have been our aims throughout.
We have grown from offering just a cafe and Karaoke club to now being able to offer over twenty different sessions. These include skittles, swimming, horse riding, personal trainer, hip hockey and geo-tracking (to name just a few). We have also had some great one-off events such as Comic-con, Monmouth show, BBQ’s and trips out. We hire Lydney Town Hall to enable our clients to access Lydney town, the park and Gym as well as offer in-house craft sessions, we will also be putting on all our future Drama productions at the Town Hall to enable our clients the chance to perform on Lydney’s Famous stage.
